Tallahassee Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy offers outpatient physical therapy services. I have multiple years of experience with patients with HSD/hEDS and other common co-morbidities including POTS and MCAS. I work with my patients to create custom treatment programs to address their individual goals. I recently completed the EDS ECHO program. I have not personally treated the rarer types of EDS, including vascular EDS, but would be open to treating any EDS patients.

The Florida Association of Genetic Counselors supports genetic testing access statewide. Florida Medicaid covers genetic testing for connective tissue disorders with documented medical necessity.
Florida's size creates significant access disparities. The Mayo Clinic EDS program is in Jacksonville, which means patients in South Florida, Tampa Bay, or the Panhandle face drives of 4-8 hours. Wait times at the Mayo Clinic EDS Clinic can be 6 months or more. Telehealth follow-ups can help after an initial in-person evaluation.
Finding Physical Therapy for EDS
When choosing a PT for EDS, ask whether they have experience with hypermobility and use stabilization-first protocols rather than standard stretching routines.
