A dedicated outpatient hand therapy clinic with in a large orthopedic specialty clinic. Two CHT’s, each with over 30 years experience. We work closely with a team of three hand surgeons and one dedicated hand specialty mid level provider.
EDS Healthcare in Iowa
Iowa has no EDS Society Center of Excellence. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City has a genetics department that can evaluate connective tissue disorders. Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota are the nearest Centers of Excellence, depending on your location in the state.
Iowa's rural landscape means many patients are hours from major medical centers. Western Iowa patients may be closer to Children's Mercy in Kansas City, while northern Iowa patients may find Mayo Clinic Rochester more accessible. Telehealth can help with follow-up care after an initial evaluation.
