Whatever your needs and preferences, we can help. Aran Ingham is a certified family nurse practitioner; she has been trained to treat the entire family, from infancy to elderly. She has a passion for caring for the whole person, offering patient-focused, holistic, high-quality care. Compassionate evidenced-based care that acknowledges each patient’s individuality is of the highest priority for Aran. Aran began her nursing career in Massachusetts; her experiences include, but are not limited to maternity, emergency, telemetry, operating room, and other non-traditional nursing environments; caring for patients with chronic and acute conditions across the lifespan. Aran was a single, working mother of two young children, when she graduated nursing school, and shortly thereafter earned a bachelor degree in nursing. After many years working as a Registered Nurse, and with the support of her significant other and their child, she worked full time and continued her education earning a Master of Science Degree in Nursing and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

MUSC in Charleston has a Division of Medical Genetics that evaluates connective tissue disorders including EDS. South Carolina does not have an EDS Society Center of Excellence. Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in Florida are the nearest Centers of Excellence and specialized programs.
South Carolina's EDS resources are concentrated in Charleston. Patients in the Upstate (Greenville-Spartanburg) area, the Midlands, and rural parts of the state face significant travel to reach MUSC. Upstate patients may find Duke University in Durham more accessible than Charleston.
