EDS Healthcare in Colorado
Children's Hospital Colorado Special Care Clinic in Aurora is an EDS Society Center of Excellence. The Colorado EDS Network of Excellence in Arvada provides coordinated care. The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver, led by Dr. Jill Schofield, specializes in complex cases involving EDS, MCAS, and dysautonomia. Colorado Medicaid has covered genetic screening and counseling since July 2022.
EDS resources are concentrated along the Front Range (Denver-Aurora-Boulder corridor). Patients in mountain communities, the Western Slope, and the Eastern Plains face significant travel distances.
