EDS Healthcare in Ohio
Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus runs the Midwest Pediatric Joint Hypermobility Research program and is an EDS Society Center of Excellence. Cincinnati Children's Hospital has multiple specialists experienced with EDS. Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus has genetics programs. These programs provide strong options for both pediatric and adult patients.
Ohio's EDS resources are concentrated in Columbus and Cincinnati. Patients in rural Appalachian southeastern Ohio, the northwest, and smaller cities may face significant drives. Adult patients may find fewer dedicated EDS options compared to the strong pediatric programs.
