EDS Healthcare in Nevada
Nevada has no EDS Society Center of Excellence or dedicated connective tissue disorders program. Stanford Medical Center in California is the nearest major EDS resource. The Genetic Counselors Association of Nevada can help connect patients with genetic evaluation services. The University of Nevada School of Medicine has limited genetics resources.
Nevada's population is concentrated in Las Vegas and Reno, with vast rural areas in between. Las Vegas patients are closer to programs in Arizona (Center for Complex Neurology, EDS & POTS in Phoenix) while Reno patients are closer to California programs. Rural Nevada is extremely isolated from specialist care.

Ask whether the dietitian has experience with the EDS-related conditions that affect eating, including gastroparesis, MCAS food triggers, and SIBO.
