About
CHatch PT is a cash-based private practice physical therapy clinic in downtown Denver. I have spent the past 7-8 years of my career specializing and focusing on pelvic health conditions, chronic pain, and working with athletes to optimize function, performance, and/or quality of life. I believe in a holistic approach and strive to ensure I work with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan based on their unique needs and goals.
EDS Healthcare in Colorado
Children's Hospital Colorado Special Care Clinic in Aurora is an EDS Society Center of Excellence. The Colorado EDS Network of Excellence in Arvada provides coordinated care. The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver, led by Dr. Jill Schofield, specializes in complex cases involving EDS, MCAS, and dysautonomia. Colorado Medicaid has covered genetic screening and counseling since July 2022.
EDS resources are concentrated along the Front Range (Denver-Aurora-Boulder corridor). Patients in mountain communities, the Western Slope, and the Eastern Plains face significant travel distances. Colorado Medicaid's genetic screening and counseling coverage since July 2022 is a meaningful benefit for eligible patients.
Finding Physical Therapy for EDS
When choosing a PT for EDS, ask whether they have experience with hypermobility and use stabilization-first protocols rather than standard stretching routines.
