Thrive Physical Therapy
Dr. Catherine (Cat) Savoia, a Boston native, began her love for the human body with dance. She began her dance training at a local studio at the age of 2. Her passion for movement and love of art drove her to begin teaching. In 2007, she completed a three summer Dance Teachers Training program at the age of 17. Her professional dance training continued in New York at Hofstra University, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Dance Education. She went on to become certified to teach K-12 in New York Public schools. She studied all styles of dance with most emphasis on Ballet and Modern. After graduation Cat went on to teach at multiple studios and give master classes in Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary dance. However, after multiple dance injuries over the years, Cat realized the lack of dance specific rehabilitation options and lack of specialists for injured dancers. Her avidity for movement and efficiency propelled her toward filling this need for Dance Medicine. Cat graduated from Northern Arizona University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. There, she fell in love with all forms of rehabilitation. In her career, Cat has worked with a wide variety of injuries, extending from severe neurological injuries to athletes. As she has honed in on her skills, she specializes in dance injuries, performing arts rehabilitation, concussion, TMJ disorders, dysautonomia, EDS/ HSD, cervicogenic dizziness and headaches, as well as vertigo, vestibular dysfunction and balance disorders. Shortly after beginning her career in 2016, Dr. Cat began having her own health issues and began a long journey without answers. She has since resolved many of these issues, but has lasting limitations due to Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder and dysautonomia/ POTS. This has driven her career to treat people with and educate people about EDS/HSD, POTS, and other chronic illnesses. Since experiencing her own 8 year journey with chronic illness, Dr. Cat has invaluable experience and understanding on treating these diagnoses and caring for people who have suffered “healthcare trauma” and invalidation. Cat is certified in Integrative Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation & Concussion, and Nutrition for Chronic Pain. Her skill set also includes, but is not limited to neural manipulation by Barral Institute, cupping, and IASTM. She enjoys using her skills and tools to develop an individualized program for each patient to reach their maximum potential in daily activities, to prevent injuries, and to progress safely to return to high level activities. In her free time Cat enjoys yoga, hiking with her husband, going to the dog park with her two fur babies (Zoey and Lola), reading, and going to brunch.

Releaseology - Physical Therapy
Sara Becker with Releaseology has her doctorate in physical therapy and prides herself on the nontraditional approach to healthcare. With extensive experience rehabbing neurological patients, Sara began to see a critical connection: true healing wasn’t just about addressing muscles and joints—it was about working with the nervous system itself. Pain, stress, and dysfunction often have deeper roots in how the brain and body communicate. Sara realized that by targeting pain at its neurological source, she could help people experience deeper, lasting relief. This revelation led her to immerse herself in perfecting hands-on techniques like neurokinetic therapy (NKT), vagus nerve regulation, dry needling, and myofascial release. Sara has crafted a practice centered on holistic, root-cause healing that not only reduces pain and dysfunction but helps my clients feel more at ease in their bodies. Every day, Sara is honored to help people take control of their healing journeys, release pain and stress, and reconnect with the incredible resilience of their bodies and nervous systems.

Becker Chiropractic
I graduated as valedictorian from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, where I was honored with the Presidential Award for academic achievement, leadership, and clinical excellence. My academic journey began on the pre-medical track studying Human Physiology at Boston University. After experiencing years of daily migraines with no relief from traditional medical approaches, I discovered chiropractic care. The significant improvement I experienced not only changed my health, but ultimately inspired my decision to pursue the chiropractic profession. I have a strong interest in soft tissue care and frequently incorporate therapies such as myofascial release and kinesiology taping to help patients move more comfortably and confidently. I especially enjoy working with individuals experiencing vertigo, hypermobility spectrum disorders, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction—conditions that are often overlooked yet can greatly affect quality of life. My primary adjusting technique is the Activator Method, which I integrate with manual adjustments when appropriate. For patients with hyper-mobility spectrum disorders and joint instability, this gentle, instrument-assisted approach offers a safe and effective alternative to traditional high-velocity “cracking” techniques, while still restoring proper joint motion. During chiropractic school, I was diagnosed with hyper-mobility, upper cervical instability, and basilar impression, which required me to change the type of care I was receiving. Through this experience, I developed a deeper appreciation for precise, low-force techniques. Activator care has allowed me to manage my symptoms effectively without worsening my hyper-mobility, and this personal experience informs the thoughtful, individualized care I provide to my patients. Living with hyper-mobility has also driven me to seek out additional education and training related to connective tissue disorders and joint instability. I am passionate about integrating clinical strategies that better serve this often under-recognized population, and I bring that knowledge into my care for patients facing similar challenges.

Center for Multisystem Disease: Jill Schofield, MD
The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver specializes in disorders that affect multiple body systems. These diseases often cause such complex symptoms that patients spend years going from one doctor to the next, without ever obtaining an accurate diagnosis because their problem doesn't fit neatly into a traditional medical specialty. Jill Schofield, MD founded the Center for Multisystem Disease to provide comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome, Sjögren's syndrome, and celiac disease. Some of the patients suffering from these disorders also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which causes additional struggles. She specializes in immune-mediated disorders that are confounding due to bodywide symptoms, devoting extra time to each patient so she can identify the issues causing their symptoms. She was the recipient of the 2019 Dysautonomia Support Network's Game Changer Award for her work in the use of IVIG to treat patients with autoimmune forms of dysautonomia. At the Center for Multisystem Disease, you'll receive compassionate care that includes not just medication, but support for lifestyle changes that are important for many patients suffering from these disorders. This includes dietary counseling, help with stress reduction, and learning the best ways to exercise to maintain well-being without aggravating your condition...

TMJology
Hello! I am a licensed massage therapist with specialized training in TMJ and intra oral massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofunctional therapy, and a former dental assistant. My private practice, TMJology, is located in Denver, Colorado. My focus is TMJ and neuromuscular disorders. With my unique background, I have created a practice that incorporates massage as well as TMJ and jaw neuromuscular movement therapy. My goal is to help you learn about the why to your TMJ pain. I hear so often from my patients that they have been experiencing TMJ pain for years but they don’t know why. Together we will work to uncover your why and find the proper treatment. I know the importance of needing to know how you ended up in your current situation. Eleven years ago, my life changed in an instant. I was rear-ended by a car going 45 mph while I was at a complete stop. The impact left me with an anteriorly dislocated disc in my right jaw joint, causing a persistent clicking sound every time I opened my mouth. At first, it was just the clicking, but over time, the symptoms snowballed. Headaches, my jaw pulling to one side when I opened, discomfort with jaw movement, pain after long periods of talking. Like many, I was told to “just live with it.” That there was nothing that could be done. And for a long time, I believed that. I learned to “manage” my symptoms the best I could until I realized that I didn’t have to. You don’t have to just deal with it. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from my own experience and dedicated my career to helping others find real relief. I’m here to listen, guide you toward solutions that actually help, and support you in living a life free of TMJ pain. It’s not all in your head! You don’t have to just “deal” with your symptoms. I am here to listen, find solutions and help you live a pain free life. While I am located in Colorado, I offer virtual programs so I can help patients from all over the world! I also offer training to practitioners who want to incorporate manual therapy into their practice to better treat their patients. I’m looking forward to working together!

SpineFocus Physical Therapy
Dr. Mark earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Minnesota in 2016. Since graduating, he has focused on specialized spine care, accumulating nearly a decade of clinical experience (2016–2025) treating individuals with a wide range of spine-related conditions. Committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, Dr. Mark has pursued advanced postdoctoral education to remain at the forefront of physical therapy practice. From 2019 to 2025, he completed extensive advanced coursework in human spine care through Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. This Manual Medicine Continuing Medical Education (CME) series is internationally recognized as the “gold standard” in manual medicine education. In 2025, Dr. Mark founded SpineFocus Physical Therapy. SpineFocus was created in response to his extensive experience working with individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and his recognition of the gaps that often exist within insurance-based healthcare systems. His vision for SpineFocus is to provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals with EDS have autonomy in their care, individualized treatment plans, and the freedom to engage in therapy on their own terms. For over ten years, Dr. Mark has been a dedicated advocate and physical therapist for individuals with EDS. His treatment approach incorporates the principles developed by Kevin Muldowney, one of the few physical therapists who has demonstrated consistent progress in patients with EDS. Muldowney’s approach emphasizes advanced manual therapy skills—including osteopathic techniques, soft tissue mobilization, and muscle energy techniques—which are essential for effectively treating individuals with EDS. In addition to manual therapy, Dr. Mark integrates a structured, patient-specific, EDS-focused exercise program based on Muldowney’s methodology. This program allows for both progression and regression depending on the individual’s symptoms and capacity, supporting long-term function, stability, and improved quality of life. Opening this clinic has been a long-held dream of Dr. Mark’s. It is his hope that SpineFocus Physical Therapy serves as a place where individuals with EDS can find him, feel supported, and receive the care they deserve. Fight Back Performance and Recovery
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating complex patients of all kinds. As someone who has hEDS myself, I offer a different level of understanding, empathy and experience given that I too live in this body. I’ve had countless dislocations and subluxations, muscle tears, POTS, chronic migraine, major GI issues and surgerys, you name it. As the owner of Fight Back Performance and Recovery, I made it my mission to help the patients who continue to fall through the cracks. Our reputation is that if you haven’t gotten better with other physical therapists/physicians, we will identify the root cause and we will finally make progress. Figuring out the puzzle is my favorite part of my job! At Fight Back we see a much higher percentage of hypermobile patients than a typical clinic because many specialists around Charlotte know of my diagnosis. There will be no gaslighting here. We offer the most comprehensive care possible, one-on-one appointments and only doctors of physical therapy. Every PT is certified to dry needle, we have vasopneumatic compression for the days when the barometric pressure has your blood pressure in the tank, we can treat your migraine with needling while it’s happening. We would be honored to help.

Connection Physical Therapy
Dr. Rachel has been in practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for ten years. Her career has taken her across the country, working in many Physical Therapy settings. She discovered her true calling in the Physical Therapy field when she began to study and treat Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions (TMJ), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (Including EDS) and Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions. Treatment of these conditions are highly specialized and have required significant additional training. Dr. Rachel has also attended many specialized courses for the treatment and management of TMJ, hypermobility and pelvic floor dysfunction. Although it may appear that these conditions are not related, the opposite is in fact true! This does not imply that having one condition automatically means having the others, but there is a frequent overlap among these conditions. Dr. Rachel’s practice is rooted in creativity and discovery. As her patients will attest, her treatment methods frequently involve novel and inventive solutions as well as traditional methods to alleviate pain, enhance mobility and resolve various issues. Dr. Rachel is passionate about identifying the underlying cause of an individual’s complaints. She views the body as an integrated whole, acknowledging the interconnectedness within the body. This often means that one’s complaints manifest in more than one isolated location. She works hard to discover, treat and empower her patients to manage their body as a whole. She is committed to helping her patients discover the best ways to reach their goals.

Mind Body Physiotherapy
Mind Body Physiotherapy is a physical therapy clinic based in Austin, TX, with a strong and intentional focus on helping people who are struggling with chronic pain conditions, especially those who haven’t found lasting relief through traditional approaches. The clinic takes a whole-person, biopsychosocial approach , meaning they consider the mind, body, and environment when treating pain, rather than just focusing on isolated body parts. Our Philosophy: You are not broken. Pain does not always equal damage, and healing is possible, even in persistent or complex cases. Individualized care matters. Treatment is always one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You are heard. Your story, experience, and goals shape your care. Education is power. Patients are taught to understand their pain and learn how to move and live with confidence again. Healing is a partnership. The therapist and patient work together toward long-term outcomes, not just short-term relief. Mind Body Physiotherapy commonly helps with: Neck and jaw pain (TMJ) Chronic headaches and migraines Pelvic pain and dysfunction (including conditions like endometriosis, IC, postpartum issues) Vestibular disturbances (e.g., dizziness, balance issues, visual sensitivity) Back pain that hasn’t responded well to traditional treatment Nervous system dysregulation (including patients with POTS, trauma history, or central sensitization) Treatment Approach: Manual therapy (gentle, nervous-system-friendly hands-on work) Neuromuscular re-education and stabilization exercises Breathwork and somatic tools for regulating the nervous system Patient education to reduce fear and build body trust Functional movement retraining Vestibular therapy and visual-motor integration for those with dizziness or head/neck trauma

No one cares how much you know…until they know how much you care! We Care! Dr. Bloxham understands from his own experience the impact of chronic pain on quality of life and overall physical and mental health. During his years as a local general dentist, Dr. Bloxham was loved and appreciated by his staff and patients for his honest, caring demeanor and his pleasant sense of humor, which made patients feel welcome and at ease. In 2015, following multiple neck surgeries, he was forced to retire from general dentistry due to his own chronic pain issues. As a devoted lifelong learner, Dr. Bloxham took this as an opportunity to utilize and expand upon his past education in order to help make a difference for other chronic pain sufferers. He subsequently completed an additional three years of specialty post-doctoral training with the University of Southern California in their Master’s of Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine program. Having a daughter with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and caring for many patients who share this condition, Dr. Bloxham has gained a deep understanding of how EDS contributes to chronic pain and related conditions. This personal and professional insight has strengthened his passion for helping patients manage complex pain disorders and improve their quality of life. Dr. Bloxham’s clinical focus is on the treatment and management of orofacial pain conditions, including musculoskeletal pain (TMD/TMJ, myofascial pain), atypical tooth pain, trigeminal nerve disorders, and neurovascular and neuropathic pain. He also specializes in managing chronic headache and migraine conditions, recognizing their close connection to TMJ and cervical dysfunction. In addition, he treats oral medicine disorders such as Burning Mouth Syndrome and autoimmune conditions that affect the mouth. He is highly trained and experienced in the fabrication of TMJ orthotics, dental sleep appliances for the management of obstructive sleep apnea and snoring, Botox injections for migraines and orofacial pain conditions, intra-articular injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks. Dr. Bloxham is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP), the American Headache Society (AHS), the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Washington State Dental Association, and the Benton-Franklin Dental Society. Dr. Bloxham loves living in the Tri-Cities area. He and his wife Marianne are proud to call it home and have been blessed to raise their family here. They enjoy playing on the river in the summer and exploring various outdoor activities throughout the year. They love spending time with their four children and their pack of dogs.

Balance Within - Integrative Physical Therapy - Delafield
We are a small private practice Physical Therapy clinic integrating the best of evidence-based practice with holistic approaches. Many of our EDS patients find their way to us due to our Advanced specialization in John Barnes’ Myofascial Release work as many of these patients respond wonderfully to this gentle, long-lasting relief provided by this approach. However due to our first-hand experience with EDS with several of our family members and many patients over the years, we also know how important a gentle stabilization program is for these individuals. We are proud of our many successful ‘graduates’ that have moved from a life where they hurt all over, were limited in function, felt like their whole body was ‘falling apart’ and very worried about their future, moving into being able to sleep and function again, to regain strength and to be hopeful for the future once more. Every person’s journey is a bit different. Some need pelvic floor and jaw pain/headache specialization support. Others need ongoing care. Some graduate fully and are able to keep up with their stability on their own once we have done the hands-on work to get them feeling better. We are grateful to go along with you on the journey, to be a friend, a sounding board, a resource and help however we can along your way to help you meet your goals. With 15 and 20 years of experience as Doctors of Physical Therapy, Doctors Jereme & Sarah Trunk work together as a team to truly get to the root cause of your challenges. We have successfully treated thousands of bodies head to toe and love working with people who think that they have tried everything, as we can almost always ‘think outside the box’ and find other things to address & other avenues to pursue in a new way. We offer free consultations as we are firm believers that no one can ever feel confident that they are making the right decision until they have all the information needed. We hope to be a resource for you.
