VMP is strictly a clinical private practice focused on patient care for children & adults from around the world with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, connective tissue disorders, mitochondrial disorders, and rare genetic disorders. While we strive to arrive at a precision diagnosis, we support many patients who exceed the limits of science and testing. We do not overbook appointments and pride ourselves on a no-wait policy. The first appointment for a Connective Tissue evaluation should be conducted in the clinic, allowing us to perform a physical exam. Each new patient appointment is allotted 90 minutes one-on-one with Dr Kendall. We recognize the stress our patients have endured due to the medical field in general, so we designed our offices and examination rooms to have a spa-like atmosphere. We are not an appointment mill, and 60-minute follow-up appointments are typically done once every 1 to 2 years, with every other one being done remotely. We send a text to prospective new patients with a link to a 12-minute video about our practice. The video explains the details of our process and how to qualify for our cancellation list, which enables one to be seen within a few months. We kindly request that new patients submit a referral from their doctor, either before or within 30 days of scheduling an appointment.
