About
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. I take a holistic, whole-person approach to pain and dysfunction—considering your health, history, and goals as part of a personalized care plan. I enjoy working collaboratively with patients to develop treatment strategies that align with their values and lifestyle. I also enjoy mentoring student physical therapists and often host them in the clinic during their clinical rotations. Complex Care I have a special interest in treating complex and chronic health issues including: The Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) trifecta. I continue to advance my education in these areas by attending EDS Society ECHO programs. Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, amplified musculoskeletal pain disorder, etc. I use a broad range of treatments including manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, exercise, pain neuroscience education, lifestyle medicine interventions, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and psychologically-informed care. Obesity medicine. Underweight, difficulty gaining weight. Orthopedic Care I treat a range of pain conditions, including headaches, jaw and neck pain, and spine, hip, and pelvic issues. My approach often combines hands-on manual therapy with targeted exercise programs to improve mobility and reduce discomfort. I frequently use dry needling and spinal manipulation as part of individualized treatment plans. I’m also interested in flexible athletes like gymnasts and dancers, and athletic hip and spine problems. Pelvic Health In pelvic health, I work with patients of any gender— teenagers and adults. I treat a wide range of concerns, including sexual health issues such as pain during or after sex (dyspareunia) and difficulty with arousal or orgasm; pelvic and abdominal pain including painful periods (dysmenorrhea), pain with tampon use, genital pain, and constipation; and pregnancy and postpartum-related care involving back, neck, and pelvic pain, painful sex, and discomfort related to breastfeeding. I also support patients recovering from prostatectomy. Collaborative Programs I collaborate with the Park Nicollet Bariatric Surgery and HealthPartners Obesity Medicine programs to support patients with weight management and metabolic health. I also support our vestibular, concussion, and wound care teams.
