TPMG Gastroenterology
About
TPMG Gastroenterology – Newport News Office -> (EDS) Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Referrals to Rosemarie “Rosie” McFather, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC EDS patients historically have many GI complaints just because of the behavior of our connective tissue. All we ask is that our EDS patient referrals are sent for a primary reason of a GI indication, and put a comment in the referral about an EDS work-up being needed (for patients without diagnosis of EDS) and send it to me. If they have the formal EDS diagnosis already, please list that as the secondary referral indication. Also list if the patient has ever had a colonoscopy or endoscopy (when and where, and findings if available). Medical Records are EXTREMELY helpful, this includes past GI and EDS-related evaluations completed, or surgeries done!!! My staff and I will take it from there! Your privacy is very important to me. All communications should be through the office staff for new patients. Direct emails will not be answered, as this is not a secured method of communication!
