About
Support for Individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Many individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome experience challenges such as high, narrow palates, TMJ discomfort from joint hypermobility, airway issues, and sleep-disordered breathing. Myofunctional therapy can play a valuable role in supporting these areas by improving tongue posture, promoting nasal breathing, and enhancing muscle coordination and stability. Through gentle, individualized exercises and awareness training, patients can learn to support better jaw function, reduce strain on connective tissues, and improve breathing and sleep quality. My approach focuses on education, integration, and collaboration—helping EDS patients gain the tools and awareness needed to create more balance and comfort in everyday function.
