I am Dr. Amanda Rixey, Physical Therapist, providing individualized services in the Kansas City Metro. I provide a hybrid service model with in-clinic and Pilates studio, home, and telehealth locations depending on your needs. I recently moved from Seattle, WA where I founded Newfound Physical Therapy and became a leading provider specializing in Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Additionally, I have extensive background in treating hypermobility in dancers, previously working with Pacific Northwest Ballet and Kansas City Ballet companies. I value meeting my patients where they are at in the present moment, combining multiple backgrounds of manual therapy, Pilates-based rehabilitation, basic weight training, and various novel techniques to shape my practice.
