MAS Voice is owned and operated by Mairin Srygley, CCC-SLP (she/her). Mezzo-soprano Mairin Srygley is a versatile young artist, educator and voice therapist from Baltimore, MD. She is a licensed voice, swallow, speech and language therapist, who identifies as white and cisgender woman. Providing holistic, person-centered, and agency-giving support to all people with voice and communication needs is central to her work. As a hypermobile person herself, she is passionate about advocating for and working with clients with hypermobility. Mairin is bilingual in Spanish and English through time in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Washington D.C., and Southeast Baltimore. Her clinical experience includes supporting people from 3 to 100 years old with voice, fluency, language, speech and swallowing needs in educational, nonprofit, private, and medical settings. She has presented at the American Speech Hearing Association Convention, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital CIR, and Loyola University MD on anti-racism and culturally sustaining services. Mairin holds degrees in B.A. Vocal Performance, B.A. Education and Social Change in Latin America, M.S. Speech-Language Pathology, and M.M. Vocal Performance.
