At Integrity Psychological Services, we believe in a comprehensive approach to mental health care. Medication can be a valuable tool in addressing mental health issues and having your mental health care supplemented by an appropriate psychiatric medication can serve as an important part of your overall mental health care plan. Dr. Melissa Turkal, DNP, PMHNP, CRNP of Instinct Wellness, LLC provides on-site and virtual medication management services in our Monroeville office as well as the Greater Pittsburgh area. Yearly on-site appointments are required of any patients taking controlled substances. Dr. Turkal has been a Registered Nurse since 1997, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both acute medical care and mental health. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania. She is an experienced and knowledgeable board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and faculty at Robert Morris University in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. Dr. Turkal and her adult daughter both live with EDS, and she is a passionate patient advocate. She takes great pride in Advanced Practice Nursing to ensure her patients receive compassionate, comprehensive, and competent health care.
