In addition to manual therapies, I utilize silicone cupping, energy work/Reiki, aromatherapy, facilitated stretching, breathwork coaching and sound healing to maximize sessions and promote wellbeing.

About
As a person with hEDS, I have the lived experience of the nuance and mystery of hypermobility. In my clinical practice, I find it extremely rewarding to work with all types of EDS, because of its relationship to connective tissue and the nervous system. I blend Swedish techniques (to relax the body and mind) with targeted myofascial release (to mitigate connective tissue dysfunction) and neuromuscular therapies (to ensure proper function of all stabilizing muscles and elimination of trigger points). I also find that applying craniosacral therapy with EDS clients assists in gently realigning the bones and structures of the spine, skull, pelvis, as well as the rest of the body. I am always seeking to improve clients’ proprioception and internal awareness, while alleviating pain. I also teach bodywork at the local massage college, and am excited to share information and self care strategies with my clients, particularly since I myself have recovered from many hypermobility-related injuries and dysfunctions. I hope to provide holistic support in accessing easeful movement, helpful resources, and increased quality of life. In addition to manual therapies, I utilize silicone cupping, energy work/Reiki, aromatherapy, facilitated stretching, breathwork coaching and sound healing to maximize sessions and promote wellbeing.
