About
As a specialist in Proliferative and Regenerative Medicine, my primary treatment modalities are PRP, Prolotherapy and Ozone therapy. With an emphasis on hypermobility, and musculoskeletal pain. I treat a wide variety of conditions ranging from hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome to tennis elbow, knee and hip pain, low back pain, chronic neck pain, wrist pain, base of thumb pain, plantar fasciitis, early arthritis, patellar dislocations, TMJ, and thoracic outlet syndrome. My treatments have also been successful in helping patients heal from instability of joints such as the sacroiliac (SI) joint, shoulder, or ankle joint. Because of my previous work as a Sports Medicine doctor, I am able to make accurate musculoskeletal diagnoses and I now combine this expertise with the treatment modalities of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and prolotherapy. While many doctors use a single injection of PRP of Prolotherapy into the joint, I have found that treating the surrounding ligaments and tendons is the key to true resolution of chronic pain and joint instability. The ligaments, which connect bones to bones, can wear out, resulting in a loss of integrity or lax ligaments. This can then cause excess motion and pain in the joint. The tendons, which connect muscles to bones, can also be overworked trying to hold the joints together, creating a sensation of tightness and chronic pain. I have mastered the technique of utilizing PRP and prolotherapy for healing ligaments and tendons.
