Feelings and Rainbows
About
I specialize in working with LGBTQ individuals by providing a safe and affirming environment. Some of my areas of interest include: gender identity and exploration, queer disability, gender and gender related issues, life transitions, couples/relationships, non-normative families. I work with folks that identify as neurodiverse, creative/artistic, and academic. My practice includes providing clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians. I use an integrative model incorporating systems theories, existential theory, queer and feminist theory into my work with both clinicians and clients. As a supervisor, I mostly utilize a structural family therapy model (Satir) emphasizing interactions and relationships. I’m interested in examining self of the therapist, building multicultural competency and expanding social justice work.
