Donna J Selle
About
At Fl•oh Acupuncture & Natural Medicine, we come to you to provide safe, gentle, compassionate care in the comfort of your own home. For about the same price as a treatment in-office, our licensed and nationally board certified acupuncturist comes to you to allow for a more convenient, more comfortable experience. Acupuncturist Donna Selle established her practice in the Treasure Valley 17 years ago when she opened The People’s Clinic. She’s gone on to work in a large physical therapy practice treating orthopedic conditions. She has worked at St. Luke’s Hospital treating inpatients in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecology, Obstetrics and Oncology in the St. Luke’s Cancer Institute. Donna J. Selle, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. has been practicing acupuncture and natural medicine for over 20 years. With a specialty in Women’s Health she also cares for patients with chronic conditions such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. As an EDS patient herself, she understands the difficulties in finding care providers who understand, the medical gaslighting that many EDS patients experience and the unique challenges patients face in managing symptoms. She is gentle and kind, and extremely empathetic in her approach to care. Donna has found patients who are treated regularly and frequently in their own environments respond to treatment faster and better than when they come to her office. Any potential apprehension about receiving acupuncture is greatly decreased when the patient can remain in a familiar environment. This also eliminates the time and energy challenges encountered when a patient receives multiple therapies and has several appointments each month. Decreasing these stressors better enables patients to respond to care more effectively. Donna recognizes the lack of medical research and development of treatment options for EDS patients and is passionate about delivering compassionate, gentle care, addressing the unique needs of people in all stages of life. Patient from all backgrounds and identities are welcome and embraced in her practice, and discrimination, gaslighting, exclusion or bigotry will never be tolerated in her presence. Your safety and privacy are fiercely protected and ensured by rigorous guidelines and safeguards. Patients are treated with dignity and respect regardless of diagnosis status, sexual orientation or identity.
