Myo Durham Fitness and Physical Therapy
Myo Durham Physical Therapy is a private, outpatient practice that focus on individuals with hEDS, hypermobility, chronic pain and other general orthopedic conditions. Myo Durham is owned by Joel Cabrera, a physical therapist with 21 years of clinical experience. Joel has extensive education in manual therapy and has focused on individuals with hard to treat conditions for the past 6 years. Myo Durham believes in 1 hour appointments for all patients, a key to treating the whole body. We use a combination of biomechanical, pain neuroscience, manual therapy, bracing/splinting and strengthening to achieve the clients functional goals. We also offer in person personal training and an online strengthening program, Foundations4EDS, for those clients that have progressed to that level.
