Rolfing Resilience
Within the scope of Structural Integration, my therapeutic approach is to do no harm and consider the individual needs of my clients. I use gentle manipulation methods to avoid overstretching and to allow for calm nervous system response. When working with clients who have EDS, we focus more on fascial toning and proprioceptive re-education with a focus on stability, not mobility. Certified Rolfers are known for the Rolfing 10 Series®, a progressive, cumulative approach to addressing the entirety of the body’s fascial system. I recommend a single session to start, and together we can decide on an appropriate course of treatment.

Rolfing Resilience
I have been Rolfing for 10 years, currently working towards my Advanced certification. I have had many clients with EDS who have benefitted from my work and recommended I join this site. Rolfing is the pioneering work with fascia, which is more of a philosophy than an exact method or protocol. Understanding that fascia is what holds the body together and must be worked with as a whole system, I apply deep tissue bodywork, as well as movement and awareness exercises to address chronic pain, with an emphasis on holding compassionate space for my clients to gain more understanding of their bodies. Often this can include assignments to be completed between sessions such as strengthening or awareness exercises. In my practice, I find the few super tight places that are doing all the work of holding you together, and work to distribute that strain across more of your musculature by waking up dormant muscles, so that your system has more ease and sustainability. I have been teaching meditation for 15 years, so this can be a resource in sessions as well. I also practice Sourcepoint energy work, which is great for those with more severe EDS who need a lighter touch.

Erin Shobe, Colorado Therapist and Autism/ADHD Assessor - Denver
I offer individual, partner, and family therapy, from a neurodivergent informed lens, as well as ADHD and Autism Assessment for adults. I believe you are the expert in you – and that I am merely a guide to help you explore and uncover that expert within yourself. My work is rooted in a deep commitment to really see you and provide a safe space where you can get to know yourself, find greater ease, and grow beyond the patterns that may keep you from the life you hope to live. My clients have many different kinds of diagnosis (or none at all). I am often a good fit for empaths, neurospicy, and highly sensitive & creative types who are hoping to address complex PTSD/developmental trauma. I’m passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients. I am certified to use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Aside from the letters behind my name, I am a therapist who believes in the connection between body, mind, and spirit, and these are things I explore with my clients to help them find balance.

Inner Alchemy Therapy
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Inner Alchemy Therapy, a private practice based in Colorado offering neurodivergent-affirming care for individuals navigating OCD, chronic illness, and trauma. My approach is grounded in lived experience—I live with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and understand firsthand how complex and invisible these conditions can be. I specialize in supporting clients with EDS, POTS, MCAS, and related diagnoses, especially when symptoms intersect with anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergence. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and parts work. I work from a strengths-based, person-centered, and social justice-oriented lens, drawing from a range of modalities to meet each client where they are.

Jill Schofield, MD founded the Center for Multisystem Disease to provide comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome, Sjögren's syndrome, and celiac disease. Some of the patients suffering from these disorders also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which causes additional struggles. She specializes in immune-mediated disorders that are confounding due to bodywide symptoms, devoting extra time to each patient so she can identify the issues causing their symptoms. She was the recipient of the 2019 Dysautonomia Support Network's Game Changer Award for her work in the use of IVIG to treat patients with autoimmune forms of dysautonomia. At the Center for Multisystem Disease, you'll receive compassionate care that includes not just medication, but support for lifestyle changes that are important for many patients suffering from these disorders.
