Dr. Bergfield (she/they) is a clinical psychologist who works in behavioral medicine/health psychology. She specializes in trauma, identity, and grief work, as well as chronic pain and illness. She has a special interest in working with individuals who have EDS/HSD and has worked with numerous individuals providing individual therapy, group therapy, support groups, and psychological assessment. She used to be the Research and Registry Coordinator for the Ehlers-Danlos Society and did her dissertation on personality traits in individuals with different types of EDS. She works in two different outpatient offices, Behavioral Medicine and at the Norman Prince Spine Institute. She sees people in person and virtually and is licensed in the state of Rhode Island.
