At our physical therapy clinic, all treatments are one-on-one in order to focus fully on your needs. We will provide an individualized treatment plan with a comprehensive home program for optimal success. Focusing on patients with HSD and EDS, your personalized treatment plan is designed to improve: stability, strength, proprioception, balance, endurance, mobility and more! Services are provided by a licensed PT who happens to live with hEDS, MCAS, POTS, gastroparesis. Carleen has be practicing as a PT in the Low Country for more than 30 years. Carleen’s approach is influenced by dance, Pilates and lived experience with hEDS. Our programs are made by a Zebra, for Zebras! We offer a completely private, low stimulation/sensory clinic with no florescent lighting in the practice. Need a snack or some water? We’ve got you covered! We are happy to play your favorite music and to accommodate any additional needs, just let us know! We utilize kinesiotape, myofascial release and manual therapy techniques to help decrease pain. We can assist in preparing you for surgery and for rehabilitation after surgery. If travel is a barrier, we offer video sessions. Having a challenging day? You can convert an in-person session to a video session until 15 min before your appointment. We are on the second floor, but are wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp in the parking lot and push button ADA front door. We have an elevator inside and to the left.
