The EDS Clinic at Children's Hospital Colorado is a multidisciplinary program housed within the Special Care Clinic on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. Established in 2019 by EDS expert Ellen Elias, MD, it was recognized in 2023 as part of the Ehlers-Danlos Society's CORE Network of Excellence. The clinic serves children and young adults living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and coordinates appointments across allergy and immunology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, physical therapy, and chronic pain management. When the schedule allows, the team lines up several specialty visits on the same day to cut the travel and time burden on families. A primary care referral is required, and patients must maintain an established PCP in order to be seen here.
