I’m Janet Borden, LCSW, a clinical social worker in private practice specializing in chronic medical conditions, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), ADHD, Autism, giftedness, and developmental disability. I also live with hEDS and related co-occurring conditions, which I navigate both personally and professionally. This lived experience informs my work and allows me to offer a grounded, compassionate approach to care. Having a therapeutic space that understands both the medical and emotional realities of EDS can make a real difference. Together, we can navigate the complex layers that come with these conditions, support your overall well-being, and bring clarity to what may be mental health symptoms versus the expected experiences of living with EDS. I also help individuals and families navigate complex medical and educational systems — building clarity, advocacy, and confidence as you access the care and accommodations you need.
