Inspired by his patients, Dr. Bean has applied his Internal Medicine expertise to the diagnosis and management of both congenital and acquired connective tissue diseases (CTD). He is widely praised for his thorough, thoughtful, and holistic approach to care. Since 2020, Indiana University Health has been his clinical home, providing strong support for both his practice and the patients he serves. Dr. Bean practices outpatient Internal Medicine, provides primary care, works periodically in the hospital setting, and remains deeply committed to expanding his knowledge of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and the full spectrum of hypermobility disorders. Recognizing that time is one of the most limited resources in healthcare, he is increasingly focusing on consultative work as a way to support and impact the greatest number of Hoosiers living with CTD.
